Description:Developed in collaboration with vintage synthesizer Bigtone Studios, The Legend is designed to faithfully mimic one of the most famous vintage analog synthesizers. Moreover, numerous innovative improvements significantly increase its versatility.
Every component, ranging from voltage-controlled oscillators (VCO), voltage-controlled filter (VCF), and amplifier (VCA), has been modeled with precision never before seen in software. The envelope volumes and filter were carefully modeled – even the most minor effects, such as temperature changes or the effect arising from a power source, were taken into account.
The most significant additions are unison and polyphonic mode, allowing the use of powerful stereophonic sounds, as well as the possibility of polyphonic play. Built around a vector core, The Legend is capable of synthesizing four voices comparable in performance to just over one voice, making it a highly efficient analog simulation synthesizer.
The Legend back panel allows you to switch between two versions of the release, early and late. In addition, additional options allow you to fine-tune analog simulations and take into account tolerances for parts that are usually found in the hardware. You can change the ranges of basic parameters, including tuning, drift and saturation.
Another nice addition to The Legend are the built-in effects, consisting of high-quality latency and a reverberation unit. Both effects are adapted to the synthesizer and offer only the right sound with only a few parameters.
The Legend includes 480 presets created by leading sound engineers, sorted into categories such as Bass, Lead, SFX, etc.
